Please define "Aetherpunk"
The only references I could find were for a game on kongregate. As someone that knows their cyberpunks from their cypherpunks and their cybergoths, and the multitude of meaningless subsets of steampunk that have been created to describe differing cog sizes, I find it surprising I've not heard of the term.

If it means "Steampunk using aether instead of steam", I'm afraid it still counts as steampunk. If Final Fantasy and Suikoden didn't go there, it should kinda say something.

That being said, if it is an actual genre, I'd be interested to know what specifically it entails, as I find the whole "aether" side of Victorian science / occultism rather interesting.

Sorry to disappoint, but it is almost certianly using Aether instead of steam.
