Any cheats?

Is there any cheats of some sort? I'm just trying to build a good looking city and i would love if i didn't have to worry about resources.

The only "cheat" is more of an easteregg. Giving ships or towns certain names will unlock some achievements granting you gems for cosmetic items:

Nope, but you can use setting of a Continuous game to start with 80.000 gold and an armada filled with goods. Still , you have to get the taxes right and mine your own stuff, but its a lot easier

there are trainers, found one that works for this version (and doesn't contain a virus) called "Anno 1404 Venice +7 Trainer & Shipeditor ~DNA"

From where did you download this trainer?
Because im searching trainer for some while but evrywhere virusses etc.
