What about multiplayer offline? Just with a friendat home or whatever? I can't get anything workin. When logged into my usual "online appropved" account, I can't even start singleplayer, so had to create a separate profile just to be able to start it. I don't give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about aschievments and stuff like that. I just want single player and LAN. What's up with this?

It is still working with an offline profile.

If you wanna play with your online profile you can buy the Anno 1404 History Edition or you can grab the complete History Collection for 20 Bucks (you pay 5 Bucks per game) in the Ubisoft Store here https://store.ubi.com/us/game/?lang=en_US&pid=5ebc0cd00d253c242044526a&dwvar_5ebc0cd00d253c242044526a_Platform=pcdl&edition=History%20Collection&source=detail

This includes 1602 + Addons. 1503 + Addons, 1701 + Addons and 1404 + Addon

It is your choice ;)


PS: I choosed to Pre-Purchase this Edition because at the End Anno 1404 is crashing to much on Windows 10 which annoyed me really hard and i wrote a guide to get around with crashes under a 64bit Windows xD

As you've noted, the servers have shut down for this title, but I wanted to further investigate what you've reported here. Can you tell me what you mean by your 'online approved' account? How does this differ from your regular account?

Can you also tell me what happens when you try to use that account to play single player? Do you get an error message, and if so, what does it say? (Or, if possible, I'd love a screenshot of any error messages.)

Let me know if I can clarify these requests at all!

But than you bought it only twice and not 4 times ;)

Also you don't need to buy it again if you use Hamachi which work way better than the normall multiplayer and is more stable.

PS: I have games which i bought 5 times only because they are so good that i want it on almost all Plattforms :)

I also Pre-Purchased Anno 1800 Deluxe Edition on Steam and Pre-Purchased the Pioneers Edition on Amazon :)

You can't it is not possible to change an Online to an Offline Profile, thats why i have both since many years and i used the online only if i played online.

Just to back up Shona here, profiles can't be changed / transferred from Online to Offline I'm afraid.
