Unofficial Patch

Hi, is the Unofficial Patch for Anno 1404: Venice still necessary? Or did they fix the quest/item bugs on the official version ? I tried to install the Unofficial Patch to my 2.1. Version and I can't see any differences... how do I know if it worked and i'm playing on the Unofficial patch?

This game does not get any Updates anymore..
If you want an updated version than you need the History Edition

But i never had any quest/item bugs on the OG Version of the game and i never installed the Unoffcial Patch (i would also not recommend it, because it can give you more bugs than before)

The GOG ver did. if I'm not mistaken the memory leak has been fixed

Unofficial is not really necessary but I would recommend it and advise you and anybody here to install it, because not only it fixes the game but also adds interesting and useful modlets.
