how can i build venician ships?

unlock them by spending honour in the venetion part of your civilatazion tree.
Can't give better description then this cuz it has been a while since i played it.
It was venetion shipbuilding or something and when you unlock it you could build them.

It's an attainment. Look bottom right of screen there are options for trade routes, settings etc. Down there is the attainments tab. Click that and you will see the Venetian guys tab in there if you have met him. Click on his face and you will see there are three tiers of attainments. Venetian ship building is second down. You purchase it with honour.

i do believe you need to have him as an npc or the attaintments won't be there.
