hhow do you get envoys?

apparently i need to rank up with the orient guy or something? i have no clue how and can't seem to find anything on the internet about it

wel in case you haven't done this you have to buy a gift from richard (with honour at richards port) and give it to the grand vizier.
He will give you a ship and the first build plans for an oriental settlement.

These nomads work the same as your occident people.
fulfill all there needs and they will progress to envoys.

You will have to supply them with dates and milk (maybe another i forgot).
And a mosque.
For this last building you need more building plans.
To obtain these you need to buy more gifts from richard and bring them to the grand vizier.
You will also need a certain amount of nomads to.

Once you have envoys they will again be demanding more and more goods but all of these goods are quite profitable and more envoys give more noble titles.

I hope this will make things clear to you.
p.s. getting envoys also takes a while because of all those requirements.

This did not work for me. I have 1440 nomads with all necessities fulfilled and still no envoy in my island. What am I missing? Please help

If you go to the Richard guy you can buy scrolls with the honor thing. I have given the grand vizier until the 250 one. The moment I gave the 250 one, I got the envoys. It is not like with the normal city that you can level up the people who are already living there. The envoys come only if you bring enough gifts to the grand vizier.
