Cossack 3 not launching - Mac OS - Steam

Hello there,
I installed cossack on steam (mac) and it's not launching at all. The steam platform clearly shows it's available on mac... Any idée on what's happening??

Sadly, the game hasn't been released on Mac yet. You were able to download content files without executables, so on its release it would only a small patch. We're working hard to deliver Mac OS open beta as fast as possible and would make an announcement prior to release.
We're deeply sorry for all the inconveniences and kindly ask for patience and understanding.

Remember when you guys announced that this game would be available on Mac and Linux October of 2016? Then for Linux on March 2017? I got this game on a later steam sale which clearly advertised Mac compatibility. It's in my library right now under Mac games. You took our money and promised to deliver the product...later. And it's been two years now.

In other industries this is called a scam. How are you allowed to get away with this here? People have been polite enough with you already, start issuing refunds already

2019 is pretty much here and yet this game who clearly advertised Mac compatibility yet it doesn't work. can we have the game work as is advertised? or can we get our money back already?

I downloaded Cossacks 3 a few years ago. They promised a release of the mac-version many times, but never fulfilled it. Now, years later, I've found this piece below (included in a message that announed the Linux-release); a similar message to the ones I've seen before, but slightly hopegiving since they - in the end - fulfilled a promise.

'For MAC users - there are some finishing touches and the game will be able to give you an opportunity to move you on European battlefields. We are afraid of saying to you release dates exactly, because we failed with them so many times, but we can say that there are truly no day without working to make this process faster. We will provide you with info in the same second when it will appear.

10.25.2019 I downloaded this game in my Macbook Pro 2019 with really good expectations to play and got this ... Really Dissapointing
