How to use the editor?

I see that you go into the editor but I am given no options to accuess the tools. What am a Missing?

i've got the same problem Everyone is telling me to press P in editor but doesn't work for me

The editor is currently not completed hence no ability to actually make a map. You can spawn in nations though. press alt+enter and type www in chat then press enter. Then press p and you will be able to select a nation and spawn in units to fight each other. That's all you can do for now though.

Hopefully the devs intend on finishing the in-game editor, it really was one of the best things back Cossacks 1.

Forgot to add, use the numpad keys 1-8 to switch between colours so that you can place units for different players and have them fight. Ctrl+w disables or enables peace mode. Ctril+f enables or disables fog of war.

I cannot wait for this, i spent countless hours playing in the editor in Back to War. I will do the same in Cossacks 3. Hopefully not too long a wait for it to be working :)

There is a way you can do this on a random map. Start a random map game with just your self on the map and no a.i. Once in game open chat and type www. use the num pad keys to change colour and you can control all the armies you put down and fight without a.i. Of course the maps are random and pre-made. We will need the editor for our own maps.

I press 2 and the collors dont change by the units it is always red what can i do

Make sure numlock is turned on, and close the unit box. then press 2 on the numpad
