500W, which is enough for my PC. No game has ever caused my PC to shut down, even newest ones.
Seems you PC overheating with high temperature.
Cossacks is very unoptimized game unfortunately.

Try cleaning all fans and check for dust, light dust can cause decent heat.

So you guys are convinced that its heat related?

I can say for sure that it has nothing to do with Power or Heat.

Might be the CPU or GPU or something, or a RAM issue. Something hogging RAM or CPU performance?
I had the same problems on stock system FAN.
Even Half-Life 2 not loaded CPU so as Cossacs 3 do.

Its not the game itself causing your pc to shut down - Its something that is happening with your pc when playing - I agree with others on the heat issue.
1. Heat issue - Auto shutdown when a pc part is too hot and is about to fail
When play do your fan start to whine ?? I cant see your pc but mine has 10 fans cooling the case - try aiming a small window fan at your pc.
2. Are you overclocking ??? Most Pc have this option but shouldnt be used unless you know what your doing (Parts go boom :-)
3. Check that all of your drivers are updated
4. If it keeps happening most likely the bad part is going fail very soon and then will need replaced (CPU, Graphic Card, Motherboard)
Hope I helped :-)

My PC is not overclocked and my CPU has aftermarket fan so it's super coll and quiet.
Yesterday I played for an hour and PC crashed when I tried to quit the game. I checked temps few mins before that, PC was cool. Day before that I believe it was shutting down when the game was autosaving.
Please stop suggesting overheating and power shortage, it's not the case.

Have you checked the Event Viewer? It might hold some clues as to what is happening.
