Campaign Co-Op?

Page says Multiplayer Co-op.. Does this mean players vs AI or full fledged campaign playable in co op?

Also what is campaign length +- ?

Campaign is only you vs the AI.
But of course in the multiplayer you can play with and againts other players.

Co-op is not the same as online multiplayer.

Steam page mentions "Online co-op" , that just means you can cooperate with other players online. In other words, you can play in team with other players and/or AI online. Nothing more to it. It does not mention Multiplayer Campaign Coop on the steam page.

What u are discribing is multiplayer in my eyes. Not Co-op... That's like Saying Battlefield is co op because u can play in a team with other players.

Doesn't matter i guess, gonna skip the game for now due to it not having co op.

Yeah i suppose its a semantic discussion. My point of view is that in this game, "multiplayer" can be either free for all or coop. Coop to me just means playing together in team, whether that is online or offline (with ai) where as for you it seems to mean playing together on a campaign in multiplayer?

What i dont understand is that you seem to think that coop doesnt mean to cooperate (working in team). What does coop mean to you?

Co-operative IS multiplayer. Just like Death Match, Capture the Flag, etc. are multiplayer.

The difference is that you are working together on the same team to achieve a common goal instead of fighting against each other. It can be done over LAN or the internet... just like any other multiplayer... provided the game supports it.

so i think hes asking if he can co-op over LAN with a friend to playe single player against AI

Hmm, well Steampages list Co Op and Multiplayer differently, so they are not the same thing.

U are literally the only person i ever met that thinks Co Op is the same as playing a match online vs other players.

Playing online vs others = Competetive multiplayer. Playing with others vs AI = Co Op. However in this case. The only "Co Op" to be found is the same as PvP but the players are exhanged for bots to simulate other players... Not Co Op in my eyes.

Anyway my question has been answered, this game has no Co Op. Will get it when it's cheaper.

Well you can play with others player against the AI on random map, but that all for the moment.
There is no campaign with co-op for the moment but maybe one day they will make one.

I think you can do missions in the editor with campaign objectives that you can play with your friends so i think it is really possible. Though i am the one for multiplayer and not much of campaigns in cossacks anyway

I badly wishe doing CoH 2 style campaign(theater of war) Co-Op, we progress side by side against special campaign AI opponent, not random/skirmish/hosted against AI in generated maps it's ugly I badly want Campaign co-op+mp instead of sp campaign
