You are only able to encounter this by building walls, better/more hussars.
Another way is to place verry mutch pikes as guard in your city.
The French king musketeers are also verry effective to counter hussars.
To counter them with good musketeers is not longer a option because with the last update most of the powerfull units got verry weak now.
So at all with the last update its still easier to raid ^^
Not if you put them straight up in front of your army. Just take note, they don't shoot if ANY friendly unit is infront of them, you have to spread them a bit and put your men ons stand ground if you can.
Sorry did not mean to imply you don't know anything, I just found it quite a revelation a few days back -.-
They most often also bring immigrant cannons with which to break your wall, which is just unacceptable.
We're going to have the biggest and best Army, it will be yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge, you'll never see anything like it again.
You're half right there. If the oponent attack charges his hussars you should put some pikemen infront of your multi-barreled cannons on stand ground as they are resistant to grapeshot damage.
I have made a video demonstrating this, not many people use multi-barreled cannons but they are very tactical, 10 of them and a few pikemen is enough to stop a huge hussar charge.
