I think if there was a crawling away mechanic combat would be a little more fun.

When you try to resist the assault of a boss like enemy, you get no time to recover, I think if the dev were to add in a slow movement crawl to the downed or staggered state, it would fix the issue of getting locked in an area when you say forget to bring a warp stone and you're now at 3 energy points. just something I thought would improve the game but idk.

while that may be true, that's not what I'm referring to. and in the heat of battle with your posture broken you can't really access the item box, so in a way thats kinda a mute point. but yeah I get what you're saying.
