Game crashes on first load screen
First time I downloaded it, I had to then download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) or it wouldn't even start. Now it starts, crashes on the first load screen, and says "Kaiju A Gogo stopped working". Can't get passed it. Any ideas?

I'm having similar troubles, though I didn't have to download Visual C++. I've tried launching the game from the kaiju.exe file in the local files directory, it says it cannot find 'RocketDebugger.dll' file. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. Verifying the game cache send it into a cycle of trying to download a 73kb file and verifying / updating which doesn't stop unless I uninstall the game.
I'm running Vista 64, if that is causing any issues.

Log files should be located in %LocalAppData%/Kaiju-A-GoGo (press Windows key + R and enter %LocalAppData%) in the diagnostics folder.

Don't forget to say what version of Windows you are using and if it's 32 or 64 bit when asking for help..

Cannot locate any log files. Perhaps none are generated as the game never actually starts properly?

Same here, can start the game fine, but it crashes on first Loading screen after selecting a Kaijuu (the loading screen showing the newspaper article of the comet approaching Earth and Tyrian raining down).

Same as the OP, it says "Kaijuu A Gogo stopped working". Hope to have it fixed soon. :)

Can you email your diagnostics to contact@kerberos-productions.com?
To send diagnostics, please do the following:
1) Press Windows Key + R and enter: %LocalAppData%\Kaiju-A-GoGo
2) Right-click the Diagnostics folder -> Send To -> Compressed (zipped) folder.
3) Email Diagnostics.zip to contact@kerberos-productions.com.

Still no luck since the 1.01 patch. And still not able to locate a Kaiju-A-GoGo directory in any of the various AppData folders on my computer.

Disabled Avast! And lo and behold the game installs and works properly now.

For anyone else having a similar issue, open Avast! > Settings > Active Protection > File System Shield (Set this to Off).

A further update to this, if the Avast! File System Shield gets turned on again it'll bugger up Kaiju and you need to go through the above again, and verify the game files, downloading the offending file again before it'll work.
