Prince of Persia:The Forgotten Sands Deluxe Edition
i already have the Prince of Persia:The Forgotten Sands in my steam library. I want the Soundtrack . Will purchasing the Deluxe edition still give me access to the soundtrack after decommissioning in September or will I lose access to it . Also i won't be installing it till November as i am looking to buy a new Gaming laptop later this year(after September). Please advice me fast .

Hey TeamRajput,

Thank you for getting in touch!

As the Soundtrack is added to your Steam library separately rather than needing to be accessed in-game, the server shutdown should not affect you here, however the rest of the Deluxe Edition DLC will be and you won't be able to access it.

As an alternative, the entire Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands soundtrack is available for streaming online via multiple platforms, including Spotify and the Ubisoft Music YouTube Channel.

If you have any further questions, please let us know!

Oh and patch to have access for these content is to "hard"? ;)
(For all these games)

Not the best way for SINGLEPLAYER games.

Apparently the Anno 2070 developers gonna patch their game, if we continue to raise awareness maybe they are gonna fix the others too.

I hope more of these Ubisoft games get patched to save the games and DLC from getting delisted

Hey guys,

We aren't involved with the associated development teams directly, rather we're Ubisoft Support, however do understand your concerns regarding the loss of DLC access.

We've noted your comments to the appropriate teams as feedback but at this time, there's no further news regarding any changes to the shutdown proceedings.

This will encourage prospective buyers to buy DLCs otherwise gamers/collectors including me would think 10 times before buying/squandering on Ubisoft DLCs

Yeah, actively patching the games so they aren't delisted or the DLC isn't inaccessible shows goodwill and will gain trust in people to continue buying games and DLC from Ubisoft. Otherwise, tons of content and entire games become inaccessible which people paid for and will feel like they got burned.

Hey, can the games listed under "Decommissioning of online services" be bought and played after september 1st? I'm only interested in playing the single player base game but the website says "You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features." So if I buy these after september 1st will I not be able to link my ubisoft account?

Why i can't launch the game? I get an Ubisoft Launcher error for download. It isnt September and i can't play a single player game!!!! We want the Money back!!!

Well, it's terrible that they're doing it anyway.
they should patch it as a given

Hey puna356!

I can confirm that the games being decommissioned on that date will still be available to purchase, but their online services and some DLCs will not be available.

Hey there Ubi Ciel - one question regarding this game - I bought the Deluxe, like many others, and got a digital copy of POP: The Sands of Time for free. Will that digital copy also disappear from my library?

Sorry not Ubi Support here, but as that's directly granted through Steam it will not be affected as it's entirely handled by Steam and not Ubisoft. Feel free to check SteamDB.
