Observatory help?

I just reached the observatory and i cant figure out how to progress, a walkthrough said to pull a lever on the right after hanging from the first lever, but there isnt one?

So, I fixed it by downloading a save from After that level and putting it in the save location. However, you have to turn off cloud saves in UPlay to make it work.

Hey Holy Mustard,I tried it and it didn't work. I downloaded the files,copied them to the Ubisoft folder as stated but nothing happened. The lever is still missing, any ideas how I can fix that?

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble since reaching the observatory.

So we can understand exactly what is happening, would it be at all possible to share a link to a video. This will allow us to see what you see.

I am really sorry, this was several years ago and I don’t remember what I did. It had something to do with finding a save that skipped it.

Hey, thanks for the assist.

Everything is smooth till this point. The cut screen itself is fine. The issue is instead of a switch, I'm getting a smoking patch of earth there. I saw on YouTube some guy had the switch hovering under the lamp in mid air, but in my case it's nowhere. Hope you can help me out. Here's a link to the file I uploaded on Google Drive.

Hello Ollie.K_17, thanks for making that video available to us.

I've opened an investigation into this issue, as the only known workaround is to download a save file from a player who didn't experience the Observatory bug, which is something that is not an ideal workaround.

I believe this issue has existed in the game for some time, so hopefully one of our QA teams can take a look at this issue now that the original development team have moved on to other projects.

We will keep you all updated in this thread and let you know when we hear back from our QA team, if this is something they are able to fix.

I just got hit with this bug. Sadly this is just typical Ubisoft. I foolishly tried playing Splinter Cell Double Agent earlier this year. It was a disaster and I couldn't get past Shanghai due to the autosave crash bug.

Unfortunately given the age of these titles, development has ended, so there are no further updates planned to address these issues.
