WILL NOT WORK ON MAC! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

EDIT: Its official. This app is dead on modern macs. It works if you use leopard from 10+ years ago, but not newer operating sytems. Do not purchase this if you plan on actually playing it....

Old Post: as soon as it opens, it crashes. any ideas?

Wish I'd read this before buying. Granted, I didn't spend a lot, but still: here I am with a completely unplayable game.

This would have been so nice to know beforehand. Oh well... good thing my computer at home runs Windows, so it's not like a complete waste of money.

I'm glad I have both PC and Mac, but I'm bummed out to hear nothing will be done. I wanted to keep all my ""FILTHY CASUAL"" games on my Mac side so that I wouldn't get sucked into Skyrim while trying to work on artsy stuff.

Doesn't work on my 2013 Macbook Pro laptop. Steam should refund our money.

It's too bad - I remember playing this game in a browser 10 years ago and it was amusing (for the record, I also bought the game last night and it also crashes for me on a mac)

"OS: Mac OS X 10.3.9-10.6.x " maybe this is the main requirement and reason? I'm not so sure about it but, I had 10.8, currently 10.10 :/
Perhaps it just doesn't support future updates, besides this is an old game and this game (thread) hasn't been fixed.

WTF!? I just bought the game and it will not run. Has anybody figured out a workaround? Should I complain to Steam or to PopCap? I want a refund if the game is not going to work.

I did. All that it got me was a change in the mac system requirements that now says only BELOW a certain os. Its dead so congrats on joining the club

I've joined the club, too.
I bought the PopCap Favorites bundle during the Steam Winter Sale. I had been given $20, and it cost $5 for 5 games, so I took it. Now, as you all know by now, 0 of them work. I've played all of them but one more than two hours, but I've had them to long to be refunded. We deserve $20 in Steam money to make up for this. These games have huge sentimental value to me. I played them whenever I was stressed, and not having them really frustrates me. I, like you, am the opposite of happy that this happened. Will it eve be fixed? Probably not. Will we ever be compensated? NO.

Same here, just downloaded the game. I'm on Imac OS el Captain. Bejeweled 2 and Chuzzle work fine. But not Zuma DeLuxe. It crashes at the second it's opened!!!
