Game has suddenly begun to not load up. Error message "Bass Channel set attributes not found in bass.dll file" comes up. Can anyone help as this is my wife's favourite game

i just purched and installed this game but..everytyime i try to play it i get and erro saying steam can't open dil file WTF?????

If you just purchased the game and cant play after download it i bet you can refund the game atleast im pretty sure you guys didint play it more than 2 hour...

Here is something you could do

1. Right click the game in your library
2. Click 'properties'
3. Click local files
4. Click 'verify integrity of game files'

Let it do it's thing. If something is missing or incorrect in the files, steam should replace it with a new file with necessary things required to run the game correctly.

it's an issue w/most popcap games

Solution here:

-Go into C:/Windows/SysWOW64
-There should be a single file called bass.dll
-Remove it
-Start the game

just used it, it works. I've had to do this for PVZ and Peggle, too.
