just put the DDeception from inside of zip in Local (Hold windows key with R, put appdata on the execute and enter Local folder)

thanks for user typervader: apparently steam cloud dont allow you to change the files, so check if it is enabled on dsrk deception, then put the files

update: i have shared my encrypted version of the save, the same install method, throw it at your Local folder and its done.

Am I doing something incorrectly? I've followed the exact steps, i turn off steam cloud, download the save, go to appdata, replace the normal DDeception with the 100% save and then open the game, but it opens to a 0% save with nothing unlocked. Am I doing it incorrectly?

For those who are still struggling with this after months. In the "SaveGames" Folder DO NOT COPY the "steam_autocloud.vdf" Only copy the .sav.

i have yet to download anything cause i dont know what im doing, but i have this issue that is locking me out of chapter 4 entirely: evertime when i beat the clown level, and press next after all the stats, the game just shows me a never ending black screen. im then forced to close the game while that is happening, and when i relaunch it, the game restarts all my progress of the clown level back to the ballroom. do you have a solution to this that may involve your files you linked? any help will be useful really.

there is nothing else to download, thsi might be a bug for you, or you lack chapter 4.

been doing everything i can. disabled steam cloud, got rid of steam_autocloud.vdf, reinstalled the game, verified the files, everything. but nothing seems to be working (i own the complete edition dlc btw)

i just realized that recently, the game had a odd quick update.
and now that i see, the save files, are all encrypted, i don't now if this affect hwo the saves works nowadays, because evne the config files are encrypted now,.
meaning not only my save works for a few people, but aslo my loewr graphics "mod" don't work since it was tied ot the save.

yeah, you need to put the folder from inside of zip in the "local" folder in appdata, you will need to REPLACE you DDeception folder, so delete/backup it and put the new one, and start game after putting the folder.

I found out a way to get all upgrades and all S ranks I used https://www.saveeditonline.com got the save file called SaveSlot or something like that and eddited all the power upgrades into 6 and I somehow got all the S ranks an max level upgrades

this because level limit was patched years ago, the level limit will always be the same said vince, its hardlocked at this, going beyond will break the points gain i think.

Now I ruined my gameplay because 2 power or more don't even work do you know how I can fix it?
(I know this will need me to reset my entire game data)

i have updated the folder throw it over your local folder. its my encrypted version of the save, hopefully this mean dark deception is not using user based saves.whichi i hope they aren't, as i reformatted my pc recently and pretty still can use my old saves.for anyone wanting to try, remember to reomve the autocloud inside savegame folder[drive.google.com]
