What exactly do the levers in level 3 do?

Chapter 2 just came out so there's no real videos talking about the levers but looking at youtuber's videos, it doesn't seem to do anything? Has anybody tried to flip all the levers?

The levers in level 3 each open certain gates. The two in the big room where the ring piece each open/close the two paths from the room on that side. I'm not sure what the third one does, but there are certain sections of the manor that are gated, and you have to go around. Maybe it opens those?
