Achievements

Please add achievements. Was planning to double dip, but there's no reason to without Steam Achievements.

huge agree- I already had both MySims and Kingdom on Wii and i was excited for what a steam release could do to help improve the experience. i was planning to buy day 1 if they added steam achievements so i had a good excuse to replay, but no steam achievements made me lose my motivation, especially when we need to pay $40.

Please add steam achievements to both games.
Even if the games could not be recompiled to add achievements, it should not be difficult to make a game wrapper app, have it run the game(s) and have this same app monitor the games for activity to mark achievements completed, achievement progress, etc. PSN does this when they redid PS2 games to add achievements, for example, and many other older games also get achievements this way as well.

Yes please! I don't understand why devs skip out on such a simple feature. It's such an easy way to get achievement hunters to buy and play your game...

I also was very excited to play though this game again when I saw it was coming to Steam, but as you said, I just don't have the same motivation to grind it out without achievements. I still bought it and will probably give it a play, but achievements would just make the experience far better imo.

Maybe they just didn't think of it? Or maybe they thought that such a casual game didn't call for Achievements? They may think that only challenge games warrant Achievements? It could even be that they just wanted to do as little extra work as possible to just release this on another store... Could be any number of things...

Sorry, but this is the same old response I get Every Time! Yes I enjoy achievements, BUT I AM HERE FOR THE GAME NOT JUST ACHIEVEMENTS! I enjoy playing the game, accomplishing in the game, THE GAME, and then earning achievements from THAT
