Development Update: Fix for Crash Immediately After Launch ? 2025/04/05 01:16 (JST)

We will release an update shortly after this notice.
The new version will be Ver. 1.0.3.

Please note:
Ranking scores and replay data from previous versions will no longer be usable.

Changes in this update:

Implemented a fix for the issue where the game crashes immediately after launch

Ver. 1.0.3 will now launch in borderless fullscreen mode by default (to ensure initial file acquisition)

As an experimental measure, refresh rate will now be unlocked

This will result in some changes to game balance

Borderless fullscreen mode is being introduced for testing purposes

Minor difficulty adjustments have been made outside of fullscreen mode

For overall balance, SHIRANUI’s control feel has been adjusted to match that of higher-tier opponents

Note:
We are still investigating the issue where the game gets stuck on "NOW LOADING..." after launch.

Ver1.0.3となります。

以前のバージョンのランキングスコア及びリプレイデータは使用不可となります。

変更点：

・起動直後に停止する問題の対策を導入しました
　・1.0.3起動時にフルスクリーンボーダレスで起動します（初期ファイル取得の為）
　・試験的にリフレッシュレートの開放を行います
　　・ゲームバランスが一部変更になります
　　・フルスクリーンボーダレスのテスト導入

・フルスクリーンモード以外での難易度に若干の変化があります

・全体調整の為、SHIRANUIの操作性を上位ティアと同じ物に合わせる調整を行いました


注意：起動後にNOW LOADING...で停止する件に関しては調査中です

When launching in borderless fullscreen mode, the game screen may appear in an unusual position.
This is part of a test implementation, so we kindly ask for your understanding.

my game still doesn't launch at all, it does nothing when launching through steam and gives an error 0xc000007b launching from the EXE

Still crashing right after Now Loading for me as well, Im refunding it now but ill keep an eye on the discussion. I would really like to play, and hope more statements are made. My friend and I are STILL CRASHING on boot immediately

someone else had this issue and it was fixed by reinstalling the directx 9 redistributable.. maybe try that?

Hello, i still have the issue with the 0xc000007b launching from the EXE,

I've checked my install of directx and have all possible vcredist, i'm on an AMD Ryzen 7500F CPU and an AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT GPU if that's any of use for your investigations, if you need more information i would gladly give them.

Thank you for trying to fix all of the issues, i hope you are well and that's game launch will be succefull desipite all the issues.
