Can't use keyboard when a controller is connected
I have a weird keyboard that presents itself as a controller and keyboard to my PC, so the game's behavior of disabling keyboard input if a controller is connected breaks the game for me. Please fix it so you can have both types of input device connected, supporting them both at once. And of course fix the keyboard rebinding menu.

for me, the game will use keyboard for up to one player. if there's two controllers, both are used for players. if there's one controller, then keyboard is accepted as well.
Same issue, but my mouse does the same thing. I have to unplug both my keyboard and mouse in order to use a controller to force the game to pick up keyboard inputs.
I discovered a workaround: Disconnect my hybrid device keyboard, start the game, connect my keyboard while the game is running, keyboard input works then. So there's something wrong with how the game initializes input when it starts up. I think it "fixes" the issue because the game currently doesn't have controller hotplugging support, so by hotplugging my keyboard while the game is running, the hybrid controller device is never picked up, thus never causes keyboard input to be completely disabled.
I have a normal keyboard and a wireless xbox s controller. I straight up cant play, keyboard does nothing unless I alt tab, then it just does a random accept press. Controller can only press accept and nothing else

The problem is that the game will only pick up TWO device maximum, some controllers counts as 2 (or even 3/4) devices because of how the mapping is done on Windows. I had the issue with my controller too, counted as 3, meaning keyboard never worked.

My workaround was to go the device manager and disable two instances of my controller.

In my case when I use my controller 3 lines gets added under device manager:

HID-Compliant consumer control device
HID-Compliant vendor-define device
HID-Compliant game controller

All 3 with the same VID/PID. When the game initialise it picks up two of these 3 devices and assign them to P1/P2. Keyboard priority is lowered to 4th and doesn't even get assigned it all. Disabled:

HID-Compliant consumer control device
HID-Compliant vendor-define device

And now it's working fine.

Troubleshooting:

Check X:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\tgm4\tgm4.log

The line:

"CPadWinPad: Device[0]=Controller (Xbox 360 Controller)" will display what inputs are currently being used. If you see your controller twice despite having only one, then you need to disable one of its instance on the device manager.
