Puppet's Gender?

I know a lot of people say that NONE of them have genders because their machines, but remember, it's the character gender, not the endoskeleton. For some reason on the fnaf wiki it doesn't even mention the puppet's gender. It doesn't even say "contested" like mangle. Is this thing genderless?!

As far as I'm aware, the puppet has never been officially refered to as a "he" or a "she." Phone guy and the community simply refer to it as, well, an "it."

To be honest, there is no real indication on whether or not it's a male or female. The only thing we can say for certain is that the entity in the puppet is young, like really young, close to being considered a "baby" even. Which, doesn't leave us much indication of it being male or female. It's crib is no better, there are both male and female indicators in that room. It's behaviour doesn't help either, it only tells us that the puppet is near the "baby" age. I can go on and on here. But the short version is that there isn't enough in the game right now to tell us it's gender. All we can say for certain is that the entity is near "baby" age. that's it

The Custom Night confirms Mangle is a girl.

Also, from what I can tell about 60% of the fandom prefers Female Bonnie.

But yeah, that's still a pretty narrow way of thinking.

Interesting, I never really considered that it's a baby. It could also be a type of harliquin (good god my spelling awfull :D) kinda how Mangle reminds me of a clown with it's makeup and bowtie.

Mangles gender is a different issue from the puppets gender. We know the puppet is very close to the baby age, but whether or not it's a male or female is something that has not found much Solid Proof. Mangle's gender on the other hand is conflicted because not enough good enough indicators to say "they are this gender" have been found yet. But, with them being in the "ladies night" kinda confirms their gender. Others still argue that they still might be a male because "trans" and etc reasons. Wiki has tons and tons of threads about this, with tons and tons of arguing back and forth. The puppets gender though...hasn't been touched that much yet because mangle is the main focus atm.

Until solid evidence can be found within the game, which has yet to be found if that's the case. Then the puppet is a "it" until further notice.
