Five Nights at Freddy's 2

Five Nights at Freddy's 2

FNAF THEORY! Marionette, Backstory, and More!!!
After gathering all the data I could about the game, I developed a theory about the new Marionette Animatronic and the backstory of both games.

Open scene at Fazbear Dinner: Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Freddy are entertaining a bunch of kids with food, songs, and whatnot. Outside the building, a small little girl is crying, we don't know for what reason, but she seems greatly upset. A man in a large car rides up to the establishment and, for reasons unknown, kills the poor little girl. Imagine, later the next morning, she wakes up only to find police tape around her body and that she can walk through solid objects, like in a dream. To her, it is a dream, and she wants to wake up. She doesn't remeber much, but she knows she's near Fazbear Dinner. She absolutely loved the Dinner, especially the animatronics, of course she likely didn't understand they weren't real. She stays in Fazbear Dinner, hoping to wake up soon, not even thinking about the possibility of death. She tried to talk to people, but no one noticed, not even Freddy and the gang. She was depressed for a while, days passed, until she noticed less and less people came to the dinner.

The place was closing up.

The police had found a dead girl's body outside the dinner, near the trash cans. And this spread rumors that the culprit worked at Fazbear Dinner itself. Due to lack of customers the place was closed down and the animatronics were to be thrown away... until that is the future-leader of Fazbear Entertainment drops in and takes the animatronic characters off their hands. The little girl follows his van, knowing her "only friends" were inside. Eventually the new Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria building is made and the old robots need to be dismantled to make new ones. The ghost of the poor little girl tries to stop them from taking them apart, but they can't hear her. She remebers, in that moment, what caused her death, and who was causing the "death" of her favorite mascots, adults. She notices the new robots that are being made and notices the Marionette robot, which if you look at the drawings on the wall gives gifts to the kids [likely only if they have enough Chuck-E-tickets ;)]. For whatever reason, the little girl takes interest in this lonely puppet and takes control of it's body.

Now having a functioning body, she "talks" with the animatronics, new and old, during the night (imagine that they've all been placed in on room and that since the place is brand new and has not opened yet, they haven't hired a security guard). She is an anmatronic now so it isn't at all hard to communcate with these animatronics. And she keeps talking to them, over and over, night after night, about her death by adults and what adults had done to them, eventually it gets to them. I don't know if she actually reprogrammed them (she is a child after all) or just talked to them, but I like to believe that, spirits or not, these creatures are capable of feelings and thoughts.

These "reprogrammings" are displayed through the short mini-games that sometimes appear after the jumpscares. There are five of these, The Cake Game, The Foxy Game, The Chase/Map Game, and The Gift Game.

The Foxy one is strange becuase in all three rounds there is always one kid unhappy during the HURRAY! sequence. And on the third round, the purple man(not the same guy from The Cake Game) is likely an adult, who came to watch, but according to this game's programming if the man appears and watches Foxy, all the cheering children are dead. The Marionette is convincing Foxy that adults are evil and if they watch you, the children, which Foxy obviously cares for, will die. This watching factor could be the reason Foxy does not like to be watched by the security guard in the first game, his programming tells him it's a negative thing. As for the children in the game, I believe they are the five children from the 87 incident, I don't know how The Marionette predicted the murder's occurance in the future, but she did. The little kid who always appears sad is likely the soul the takes over the Golden Freddy costume.

The Cake Game is telling the story of how the girl died, and this is where we get proof that the girl is The Marionette, when she dies her ghostly figure is identical to The Marionette's look in the other mini-games. It was programmed as a way of reminding the animatronics of what adults did to her.

The Chase/Map Game where you follow The Marionette only would be able to teach the animatronics that killing people is a normal thing, since there is blood and some dead bodies around the map when exploring it.

And finally The Gift Game, which likely just shows how he did it, he gave them "gifts", likely meaning a change in their programming, which resulted in giving them "life", likely meaning he gave them feelings and emotions which practically makes them sentient beings. This was programmed into the animatronics as a way to remind them that she is their master.

After reprogramming them, the nightwatcher comes in for work and reports of the animatronic animals attempting to get into his office. The animatronics start to stare at the adults in the Pizziaria but are fine with kids. Then disaster strikes, and The Mangle, sitting in the Kids Cove, sees an adult woman enter the room. The woman pulls a younger boy away from the fox becuase he looks dangerous. The Mangle takes it as a sign of violence against the child and attacks the woman and rips off the frontal lobe of her brain, she is driven to the hosptial immediatley, and the Pizzaria is evacuated. Sometime around the Sixth or Fifth day of the Pizzeria being open, a man lures five kids into the backroom of the Pizzaria with the Golden Freddy costume and murders them. His motive? The woman who took the bite from The Mangle, was his wife (or had some relation to him) and he wanted revenge. The pizzaria closes up shop, though the owner hopes to open again one day with a lower budget, and thus begins FNAF 1.

Critisim is welcomed.

hmm. Some of it seems a little questionable, but for the most part it seems likely. I like it!

That's what I'm saying.... did you read any of this?

Do you know it was a kid? Do you know it was Foxy? I don't. Nobody else can say for sure. So you can't claim to either. Btw, Night 6 is not the Bite of 87 it's the day the five kids were murdered! The phone guy says "someone took the suit, the one we use for stock[Golden Freddy]".

But it was stated that Foxy caused the bite to a young kid at the party on night six. The frontal lobe was caused to one of the security watchman causing him to quit, not a woman, thus bringing in Mike in fnaf1.
