When animatronics are in the hallway...

...What do you do?

I know about flashing the light at foxy/mangle, I know about putting the mask on when toy freddy is leaning on the doorway, and I know to put on the mask when the old characters are in the room with you/other characters are in the vent lights.

I just have a question:

Other than Foxy, and all old animatronics, what is the best course of action when you see something like, for example, mangle and toy chica down the hall.

Is it best to flash your light at them and look at cams? Or is it better to put on the mask on sight?

The mask is only useful when they're effectively inside the office or looking at your through the vents. Flashing any of them in the hallway will slow them down or make them retreat.

You're not in danger if any of them are in the hallway. The only one you have to worry about is Foxy and all you have to do is shine the light on him every now and then to ward him off. Flashing the light on the other old animatronics helps keep them where they're at as well, but it doesn't work on any of the new ones.

In short, you do nothing but keep flashing your light to keep Foxy away. Other than that, you're checking to see if one of the Freddy's is about to attack so you can be ready for it.
