Age Guidelines for Five Nights at Freddy's 2?
Hi,

I have a 10 year-old son who wants to play this game. Having never played it myself, could anyone, (hopefully one of the devs), recommend a guidance rating please as I can't seem to find any.

Thanks :)

I personally wouldn't give this game to a 10 years old kid. While there's no gore in the game and violence scenes are never shown, the unsettling appearance of the characters, the jumpscares and the overall tense, creepy atmosphere (the sounds in this game are atrociously enervating) are not suitable for a young audience. I'd say at least 15 years, 13-14 if your son is very mature. Remember this is still a horror game. Many will agree with me. If you want to know more, there's a wiki[freddy-fazbears-pizza.wikia.com] about it. My profile avatar is of one of the enemies who appear in the game, in case you were wondering how they look like. Also, no offense, but I don't think a 10 year old would immediately understand the story of this game, which is extremely unsettling by itself.

i don't recommand having your son play this, unless he wants to poop his pants and have nightmares...

I would assume this game would be rated T for Teen. Therefore, I wouldn't let a 10-year-old play the game.

My 8 year old brother is able to play the game with more comfort than me playing it (I'm 15)
It's sometimes not about age anymore, but how badass your kid is.

Eh, the fanbase is made up of 2-10 year olds, but none of them have played the game. I guess the age limit would be at least 12 or so.

pros: your son might have fun

cons: he'll need therapy for many many years

Creepy, very disturbing backstory, jumpscares...

This game got a "Family Friendly" tag for a reason...

this. All the trolls think their soo cool because they can tag a game as something its not making them the coolest kids on the internet for w/e thats worth. Then you have the disgusting trash who think that pretending to be a video game robot doll thing is second to god.

I'd suggest taking some time to watch a lets play to determine if your child should play. I'd generally say no because of the type of game it is, but some kids can handle or even like scary/stress management games.
