"It's me" is something which has to do with Golden Freddy. it has nothing to do with the night shift gaurds as the same gaurd previous to the one in fnaf experianced them too. Just after finishing his shift and not during them.

Its probably because the kids that were stuffed into the suit... (Yes, the animatronics ARE kids stuffed. There are so many details why...) And saying "its me" has to do something with it?

I like to think they are saying "it's me" because when they were stuffed into the suit they were prob still alive for a brief moment but they all ultimately died. Now due to that they continually try and inform adults/ staff members that "they are alive in the suits" by saying "it's me" and more. But, due to the tragic death they all encountered and the programing in the animatronics they cannot control much of the suits, nor say much. So, they are forced to make "eye illusions" to comunicate in detail. But they cannot say much as they are reliving their last moments every night and then are suddenly stop at 6am which is prob the time when they all died. They all seem to inhibit the ability to comunicate through speech very well, as when they do try it just comes out as Screaming/ Screeching of sorts, which when reversed shows what they are trying to actually say. The killing seems to be both a conflict of what they think they are seeing and what the program is telling them what to do. Because if you pay attention they all do not seem to wish to kill you, only get your attention. But, if you give them the attention they want then the program will mistake you for a empty endoskeleton and wish to put a suit on you and if that doesn't happen then there is the fact that you are wearing a uniform similar to their killer, who was a day~shift and also a night~shift gaurd, day shift was what they ended up "keeping" per say and the "night shift"gig is something they quit because of the moving animatronics that seemingly seek to kill you, when they don't really wish to kill you. In the end though, You character never talks nor moves from their spot, if they prob tried and talk to the ghosts inhabiting the animatronics then they will prob move on, as all they want is someone to notice they are stuck in the suits.

I think Jeremy Fitz is a prior criminal. (being told the robots are tied to the database, and them having facial recognition and trying to murder your ass kinda gives it away)
An "incident" on day 4 puts them to not being friendly with the staff, which spikes the difficulty from here on out. (at this point the "possessed by childrens souls" theory can work)
The "endo/costume" explanation Phony Guy gives is probably just a ploy by Fazbear Entertainment, which already is known to not give two sh*ts about your safety.

I liked this explination: -game theory's fnaf theory video-
the thing about that explaination is that it losses any ground once you get to fnaf 2. The person is fnaf 2 is not the same one in fnaf 1. It's a good theory if you ignored alot in fnaf 1 and dug too deep down the wrong direction. But, it holds no ground at all once you put fnaf 2 into the mix

That's because it was made before the 2nd one was released, or even announced I believe.

Yes, it was made before the second game came out.

You are right that it does not work with the second games plot.

I still like to believe that the first game is an allegory for the incident at Chuck E Cheese and the second game is made from the sucess of the first one, even though it is not relevent to the same allegory. Instead the story is being developed to take a new direction and likely has the same use of symbolism, references and character developement... only we do not yet know what they relate to.
