Five Nights at Freddy's 2

Five Nights at Freddy's 2

So I was watching some FNaF Rule 34...
Apparently everybody thinks bonnie is a girl. Clearly in this first FNAF bonnie had a muscular figure, indicating he was a boy. But in FNaF 2, his update is more feminine, with polka dot cheeks, and a cute lil' bunneh smile. This is NOWHERE near chica though, as her body looks like a model. I don't how they fit animatronics in her suit.

My point is, what is up with people thinking bonnie is a girl? Only a noob who's only played FNaF 2 could possibly come to that conclusion. Ignore the riule 34 thing also, that's just me. This is a legit question!

i believe its probably the name being that Bonnie is commonly a girls name transfers to them thinking, "well Bonnie is a girls name so it must be a girl" and the fact of not playing enough or looking into it.

I'm sorry, i would love to be apart of this conversation, but the mention of R34 is an instant NOPE for me

like, in general, or in the R34 you're looking at? cause this is sorta context-sensitive.

in general, there was probably some confusion because toy bonnie (and pretty much all of the toy animatronics for that matter) have more effeminate traits to them than the old animatronics. there was also the argument that bonnie was a girl because bonnie was considered a girl's name, but that didn't really go anywhere.

in terms of the porn, people fetishize things however they like to suit their tastes; it's not like every other instance of R34 matches up perfectly with the source material either

Why?

Ok, I was looking at FNaF memes at first, then one of the memes I came across mentioned an FNaF R34. Which of course to my interest, ignited my curiosity. So I googled it and bam, all these pictures of Bonnie as a girl. I of course immediately exited the site after seeing 2-5 pages of the stuff and I came to the conclusion that I should ask this question to people who aren't spending their time making twisted rape/gang rape/ sex/ drawings of anthropomorphic creatures.

They also did that with foxy too because of the name.

*ahem* Rule 63?
No?
okay.

Not everybody on R34 thinks we're girls. Actually, most are aware by now that we're canonically boys. Some still like to imagine us in a feminine way, and to quote Trick_Ster: "Rule 63". I don't personally have a taste for R63, but I can't blame them for using it. In the beginning our genders were openly debated, but you don't see gender discussions around anymore, right? That's because they've been pretty much decided unanimously by now. But the point still remains: artists like the_weaver like to draw us as females in their self-made Alternate Universe. However, by browsing a bit, you'll see a good amount of canonical Bonnies and Foxies.

I think it's a lot like how the pony fanart goes; they choose to ignore the actual gender and put their favorite in.
