The Third Night & The Mini-Games

Alright, having some serious trouble in beating the third night. My sister and I have been going at it for almost an hour now. We've attempted the flashlight-- it works on Foxy every time, works on Bonnie about 1/3 of the time, and never works on Chica or Freddy. Bonnie, Freddy or Chica will enter the room. We've tried the mask, and then tearing it off once the light comes back on. We're killed. We've tried sitting there and watching him. We're killed as soon as we pull the camera up or pull the mask on. What is the exact formula to getting past the old animatronics? We've been killed by all four of them now. The new ones aren't even an issue anymore because they have no chance to get in!

As for the mini-games? They are freakin' terrifying. We've played three of them now.

SPOILERS:

1: Following Mr. Jack. WASD as Freddy Fazboob and follow Mr. Jack into the prize room.

2. Give the kids some cake. WASD as Freddy Fazboob and give some very angry children cake. Watch as a little boy sobs at the door and is taken by a man in a car. Mr. Jack jumpscare.

3. The CREEPIEST of them all. WASD as Mr. Jack. Give gifts to four white figures. The gifts disappear and the screen prompts you to 'give life'. Each figure you touch is replaced with the head of one of the animatronics. Golden Freddy jumpscare.

The mini-games have horrified me more than either game so far. I think they're really getting into the nitty-gritty of the story.

So can anyone help and give me a play-by-play of how to beat the oldies on Night 3? :C

Okay, you need to need to come up with a pattern in which you can shine a light on each one of them constantly (every 2-5 seconds). If you just tap the flashlight, that is enough (even for foxy to stay in place.) That keeps the battery high while keeping the animatronics at check. They may still move, but make sure you always know where they are, via camera. If you don't look at them for a long period, they will teleport to the vents.

We've been trying that strategy and we've been having a hard time. We'll keep trying tomorrow when it's a little less late. Also, got a new minigame.

4: Playing as WASD Foxy. Leave your cove twice to prompt 'Go Go Go!' Run into party room where kids are celebrating your arrival. The third time, a purple figure stands in the corner of the room and you run into the party room. The children have become white figures. Foxy jumpscare.

They are quite random.

i don´t think they are random cause i watch a stream and scott cawthon is in that stream (yes its really him) and he predicted that this would happen and then it happen so there has to be a way to trigger them in a specific way

I think the mini-game depends on who killed you.
For example, I got killed by Old Chica, and it triggered the mini-game where you play as Chica and follow Mr Jack (At least, I think it was chica. It was definitely yellow and looked like Chica, but the OP says you play as Freddy in that one).

Scratch that, looks like it was Golden Freddy (hence the yellow).
As far as I can tell though, you only get the mini-games when you're killed by one of the old animatronics.

i agree with the above poster, you can only get the minigames if you're killed by the old animatronics. it's random which one, though, because i was constantly killed by old bonnie and freddy and still accessed other minigames (as seen above).

i have noticed that the letters spelled in the background of each minigames is the following:

1st minigame (following "Mr. Jack") - S A V E T H E M
2nd minigame (giving the angry children cake, one child cries outside) - S A V E H I M
3rd minigame (giving gifts, and life?) - H E L P T H E M

the foxy minigame has no letters. but one child, the child at the bottom, seems to be sad the first two times running into the room, while all the rest are smiling.

Mr. Jack = Jack-In-The-Box, or the marionette puppet.
It's just a nickname, nor sure yet if it has an actual one or not.
