Marketing wise it was a smart move to capitalize on the success, I don't hate on the creator of the game at all. In fact I admire him for being able to cash in on the people buying it, kudos. I would absolutely love if he made FNF3 right around Christmas Eve for sale, just to read the messages on the boards and witness the over the top fake performances of "SOME" of the attention seeking community.

I wouldnt be surprised if there was a 3rd one soon since this one came out so fast.

After playing it myself I can say, I think its ok as a quick game, and it's fun, but only scary for the moment. After a while you know when the scares happen and the tension leaves and you're just trying to beat the game for the sake of beating it.

Once I've done that, I cant really see myself playing it again. At least not for quite some time.

I do enjoy the "lore" in the game though.
