No, Springtrap didn't die when he got fused with the suit. He didn't possess the suit.

People online keep telling me Afton died when he got springlocked, and is just possessing the suit. It's just not possible. OK, tell me this. If Springtrap, Shadow Freddy, and Shadow Bonnie all died from springlocks, why isn't Springtrap a ghost? The other 2 are ghostly entities, but Afton is an undead furry. Wouldn't that make him a zombie, not a ghost? He probably only survived because he just destroyed the robots and the remnent was released.
