Amazing Frog?

Amazing Frog?

Local Coop with PC/Two Keyboards, Two Mice, is it possible?
Hi all, I apologize in advance for the seeming noob question- Before you get me wrong I have a degree in computer engineering and over 20 years experience with computer repair/admin/web design, so I know my way around- My Problem is I am not able to get two keyboards to work as separate input devices on this game- the instructions say "press jump" and up to 4 players can join= This does not work for me with two keyboards, I don't have access to a controller at the moment (that will work with the PC that is), I would really like to play with my son- is there an easy, free way to get the two separate keyboards working with this game? I have done it in other games and hosted numerous Lan parties- In the past I would have just used a program like Xpadder to assign each keyboard the function of a separate input device, but windows 10 will not work with Xpadder, and I am not familiar with any other key mapping programs that are free and malware free-
I would appreciate any advice from the experts/Devs of the game, and I would like to say that I am recording/screenshots of glitches and bugs that I find, I will seek out the proper way to submit them once I get everything together- the more people with more details and more experiences with the glitches gives a much better chance of squashing bugs :)

If its not possible to get two separate inputs from two different keyboards (one is PS2, one is USB by the way, have also tried 2x usb identical keyboards and distinct different keyboards with different brands, still no luck) the ni will have to wait a week to get a new xbox 360 controller- I loaned one to a friend and he ate it, my kid spilled soda all over my other one- Thanks in advance!

I dont think 2 keyboards will work, probably because fayju havent made the game recognise that a second keyboard is a second input device, but im sure if you bring it up with fayju on twitter, they'll sort something out im sure. (Not trying to sound pretencious, just trying to get my point across). Ill try to find some programs and scan them myself.

It's not an issue with the game being able to recognize two keyboards/mice; it's an issue with the Operating System. When you press a key on either keyboard, the Operating System sends the key to the software; it doesn't tell the software which keyboard the keystroke came from. With mice, the Operating System doesn't support more than one cursor at a time by default, so if you plug in multiple mice, they move the same cursor which means that the game will see them both as the same input.

After a bit of googling, I found a program called TeamPlayer[www.dicolab.com] which seems like it should allow games to see each keyboard/mouse as a different input device. I haven't tried it myself and cannot say if it is safe to use or if it actually works.
