Online multiplayer?
I just bought this game for my son but i bought it thinking there was online play. Does this game have online play yet or is that still an upcoming feature?

If you buy games on steam you can see on the site you buy it: does it is multiplayer or singleplayer? And more

But you can play on 1 pc with 2 controllers together

There is no online multiplayer yet, but there is local, with a controller of course. :)

yeah local multiplayer can go up to 4 players with keyboard and controllers

Not this year, it was promised at the end of 2017 and I´m still waiting for it.
Also it was said to be released for a new engine but it hasnt come. So dont expect a serious update for any of that in the forseable future.

don't buy games early access. this will never get online multiplayer. It's bad enough that it doesn't have LAN, because the game is so badly CPU optimised, it really needs 2 computers running it

Why do they have Co-op AND Local Co-op in their own tags?
That's kinda mis-selling the game.
(Also came here looking to make sure Co-op is online or not, since developers misuse it, as evident)

if it a game had online multiplayer they would use the "ONLINE CO-OP" tag, which this game does not use on the store page.

Many games that have online coop use the Co-op tag only.
Developers with any sense use Local Co-op tag only. Literally has no need to have two co-op tags unless it supports online co-op as well.

It was supposed to be released co-op at the end of 2017. The game is not dead but progress is not quick. Also an engine was talked about but so far only screens.

The point is that somebody searching by the co-op tag will be able to find the game more easily
