I heard somewhere that the logitech controllers work well, but I've never tried it so you'll have to make a judgement call

I would say xbox or playstation are the best, but if there aren't enough a cheap alternative would be most logitech controllers

I have tried xbox and steam controller.

Tbh I prefer the steam controller because a trackpad is way better for camera control than a joystick. That is preference however.

I'm playing on Xbox 360 wired. Because other gamepads need x360ce program

Rumblepad 2 works without x360ce though I do need x360ce for other some other games.

My friend has a wireless xbox 360. Pretty sure he has to plug some weird receiver into his laptop.

if you want to use wireless controllers then yes, but if you are just going to used wired ones you just use usb

um im just wondering do ps3 controllers work i use ps4, steam, and xbox 360 controllers.i want to know to see if i can play 4 players with mah ps3 controller. :)

I haven't used my Xbox in forever do they come with usbs

yeah, the wired ones have usb and the wireless ones require a usb dongle to use it, but they also need special software to get it to work

My wired xbox360 controllers didnt need special software.
