Mini Map and/or a in-game map.
This game has so much potential, but for players like myself who tend to get lost easily a map of some sort is a must. Make it optional if you want but please add a map of some sort.

I agree, I think a small radar would work as well. As long as we can see the Waypoints, that should be good.

And making it an optional thing for those that want the challenge of having to navigate the world without a map to aid them.

Maps for dungeons, maybe, because they tend to be made of simple shapes. But hey, arrow signs exist for a reason.

Or maybe just learn to use compass, locator, arrow or custom signs and beacons? Areas are not big, I do not see reason for maps. The game is pretty easy as it is... I do not understand why players want everything handed to them...

2 prime reasons to make the maps OPTIONAL! Some people like the challenge, and then there are those of us that get lost crossing the street. If you don't need the map you wouldn't have to use it. The compass/locator has a bloody range limit so do the bloody beacons. That doesn't help if you are traveling beyond the range limit of your beacon or Locator icon of your home. The only reason I've been able to find my home base is my friends helping me find it cause they don't get lost as easily as I do. Let me explain something that happened earlier, I used our Moon stargate to go to a Rocky Moon, I looked around and found that the portal home was no where to be seen, nor was it showing up on the Locator. I spend a good 30 to 40 minutes using most of my wood to FLY around with my jetpack. I had 900 wood when I went in and had 237 wood when I left. All because the portal home was on the other side of the bloody island on the moon. I wouldn't have found it if I hadn't been flying around. A map would have helped.

This. I am so lost when it comes to navigation. I need to be able to set waypoints.. and I'd like to see an overview of the area I am in.. Nothing fancy. I start cutting down trees and whatnot, and I am like.. where the F am I? I wasn't watching my location in the slightest.. PLEASE HELP ME! I'M LOST IN MY WORLD!
