how to join password protected server if i have the password ?

when i try to join a server which i have the password for, when i click connect in the list it just says i need a password for the server but gives me no option to enter it ? only option is bummer and something else which takes me back to the server browser ?

On grav this is a little bit tricky. Either on the main menu or server list press ~ for the console line.

Here type: open 127.0.0.1:7777?password=use_a_very_strong_password

Where 127.0.0.1 is the IP used when you are running the server, or any other given IP where the server is running. Behind : the port number server has been set to. and behind the = the password u have set or been given.

ya i did get it like this. this is a insainly caveman approach to joining a server tho lol

Well, it's not exactly a finished game yet, but yeah, that is rather command line in a gui world. ;)

Kinda fundamental to have a password dialog/UI for private servers..... very annoyed about this.
