Old CD copy of the game

I have tried finding a way to contact steam about this directly, however I cannot find an email address anywhere, so I thought I would try asking on here.
I have got disk copies off Anno 1404 and the Venice expansion pack, as well as a few other games. I noticed that the games are now available to buy on steam, so I was wondering if it is possible to add the games to my steam library (for easier access and also to install through steam on future computers so I can get rid of my disks)
I have tried using the 'add a game...' option on the bottom left hand side of the screen and entered the CD codes for a few games, but it just keeps saying that they are not valid.
From what I have read it seems that I could add them as a non-steam game, however it looks like I will not be able to install them through steam when I get a new computer that way.
Hopefully someone can help!

Only very few older games can be added to your Steam account.

You could also wait for the next big sale and get it for 5.
The sale is anticipated for mid-february, no word from Valve yet though.

The best way to contant steam is the Steam Support (under Help in the Steam Client or the big Support button next to your name in the browser).

You will probably not get the game on Steam though since it was published by Ubisoft and you would probably get a uPlay key at best if at all.

The game is 3.75€ on uPlay right now by the way.

Thanks, I decided to buy it again as it is so cheap at the moment.
The other ones I have are a bit more expensive though, so I think I will just hold onto the disks for now.
I was hoping to have a bit of a clear out, never mind!
