It ought to go in \windows\system32 (as it's Win10, also put a copy in \windows\syswow64, which can't hurt). If it still doesn't work try putting a copy in the Anno1404 directory too (I remember that worked once for me though I'm still not sure why). Hope that's helpful :)
be sure to get latest drivers.
good luck, the game is fantatsic, i am on win 8.1
install ONLY anno 1404 first and run it. quit the game and install the venice edition. and you're all set up.
P.S you'll need to uninstall both versions if you already installed venice to make it work!
Than you have all DLLs what you need.
