This might be also the case with wiscoke, I don't know if the GT750M uses shared memory.
Another sollution might be is to try and run the game in compatibility mode for win xp or win 7.
These are to idea's that might be the problem. But in no way I'm certain of this. Sorry if this doesn't help.

Download it, open the .exe and use it on the Anno1404.exe. It will increase the ingame memory from 2gb to 4gb and more. It is an 32bit game and a 64bit operating system allows these programms just 2gb of ram.
I have the same problem, i added the patch but still get the crash on start up
Check if you picked the right .exe file. If you play the Venice addon, you should pick Addon.exe (I'm talking about @Naraksama fix). Fixing Anno1404.exe will do nothing in that case.
