Can't open the quest scroll

Just that, I tried to follow the instructions of the tutorial at my first quest (rescuing a cat) and I have the scroll in my inventory but I cannot open it.
Suggestions?

All of the quest scrolls will stay in your inventory until the end of the game. After you complete a quest, it'll say (completed) next to the scroll.

Since your posting is several years old, I assume you figured out how to rescue the cat.
