Can sometimes not scroll up in menus + possibly bugged status ailment

I'm less than 2h into the game, and I've noticed one rather serious issue. Sometimes the game will just scroll down to the bottom of a menu (like say if I'm in combat it will scroll down to the menu command at the bottom). If this happen, I can pick any of the menu options that are currently vissible, but I can't scroll further up, if I do so, it just goes down to the menu command at the bottom.
When this happens in combat, it only seems to affect a specific character, I can scrolls through the menus without any issues with the other characters, but as soon as it's time for me to choose the action for that character again, it scrolls down to the bottom. This can happen in other menus as well, including inventory. The only way to fix this has thus far been for me to restart the game, which can be a bit annoying when it starts happening right in the middle of a boss fight.

Also, blind does not seem to do anything. My characters have been blinded several times, and I've not noticed their hit-rate going down. If anything, blind seems to increase their hit-rate.

Regarding BLIND: you are right, it seems to be useless when used against you because your characters are at a low level and have low agility, they MISS a lot of attacks.
Regarding the bad scrolling: What happens is with mouse turned on the mouse cursor is ALWAYS ACTIVE so wherever it points is where your game wants to select. Turn it off. From the in-game menu, go to "Mouse Options" and choose to DISABLE your mouse. You will have to use the keyboard to play now, these are the controls:
ARROWS: move you around and navigate menus.
Z: confirm/accept/check
X: open menu, cancel, go back
SHIFT: view enemy stats in battle

The mouse controls are just broken, by which I mean you need to use EITHER the mouse OR the keyboard, don't try to use them both simultaneously or your mouse pointer will keep interfering with your menu selection process. And because the mouse pointer doesn't allow you to scroll down in menus, it is much better to use keyboard for this game.

I can scroll up with my mouse, just not the keyboard. Keyboard works with all other aspects of game play.

Disable your mouse from the in-game menu. Then you should be able to use the arrow keys properly.

i know, it's ridiculous. I didn't make the game, I'm just trying to help you all find a workaround for a problem that the devs (or maybe the RPG-Maker devs) SHOULD have fixed a long time ago.
