Hi. I'm trying to play this game, but when I start it up it shows a black screen in a window and crashes after a few seconds. If anyone can tell me what is I can do to fix it I would appreciate it.

I'm liking the game, but it seems like the kid you start as is outclassed by the other three. I just got to Hyperbole, and thus far any time we fight a powerful enemy, the kid takes a round or two to get buffed, and then his damage is still half what the magic users are throwing at the enemy. What areas of the game will we be unable to return to after leaving. In particular, I'm past the part in the Center of the World, I'm wondering if I'll be able to go back. There was at least a couple of items I was unable to get with Master TK + Telekinsis Accessory. I also am unsure if Luby could get any of the skill training that was there, as he was unavailable in the party while I was there....
