What’s new in PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate?
We’ve combined Shooter 1 and 2 to make a seamless story mode featuring all of the levels from the two games. We’ve also changed up the Graphics and UI of both games, we’ve completely overhauled them to create the new ‘Ultimate’ art style. Among a host of changes and improvements that make, what we believe, this to be the best edition of the game ever for Steam.
The new features include:
I have PixelJunk Shooter 1, can I use my save data in PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate?
Yes, you can carry your save file from PixelJunk Shooter into Shooter Ultimate, when you first boot up Shooter Ultimate it’ll ask if you want to do this. Meaning those with Save Data can jump straight into the PixelJunk Shooter 2 levels.
Hope that answered your questions. :D

In the original PixelJunk Shooter, the collision boxes of the cave walls didn't exactly match the graphics, leading to situations like bits of liquids being able to effectively "hide" behind the cave wall textures, sometimes leading to sneaky lava droplets destroying the ship and frustrating the hell out of me. Was this issue addressed in the Ultimate version or wasn't considered much of a trouble and as such left untouched?
Sorry if this is too specific, but this is the reason why I've dropped 100%-ing the original, and would appreciate knowing whether situation changed or not.
The original is a blast to play, pixel junk shooter. I certainly would play the one you have first. What I can't understand other than fancier colors, is that the system specs are quite flaky on the newer release. Why an I-5 processor when I was running the original on a single core and a dual core just fine? That just makes no sense to me.
So it does have keyboard and mouse support? becuase i really like the series but don't have a controller. Is the keyboard and mouse automatic or manual? thanks
