Multiplayer anyone?

Is there anyone who knows of a way I can play the pixel junk shooter vs. Multiplayer again? I know it's a pretty dead game, but it was just so fun and I wouldn't mind a little bit of nostalgia right now.

This is 2 player coop right ? Is the 2 player coop mode Local only ? or is it also online ?

* 2 player coop - works for "story mode" - like single player but with a help of your pal. Local (same PC) ONLY.
* 2 player versus - named "Online Battle mode". Online ONLY. Thus pretty much dead at this point as there are nobody playing this game. You will need a steam group for this as mentioned above, to coordinate the start of a match with another player. But get ready to spend 2-15 minutes trying to conect to each other even if both of you have 100Mbit/s / more internet connection. Also there are equipable weapons as part of this mode - available based on you level, so all the weapons are inacessible because there is nobody to level up with. Unless you want to play for the entire week non stop, with each of you winning the battle in turns, just to unlock everything and see what the game has to offer.
This versus mode is actually very good. But buried alive with online only and a progression system.

I know i'm a little late, I used steam remote play together once, I picked up a controller and my friend picked up a keyboard.

Went into Options > Gameplay Settings to make sure I was P1 and it worked! (2 player coop)

Online multiplayer is dead though, such a shame, it was fun.
