both a complaint and solution for people having this problem. Solution: turn the art style to classic. affects the gas hitboxes and actually lets you complete that room without that one scientist dying before you can even get close to him this is really stupid, honestly. the fix is simple, sure, but just another example of a game being remade with better graphics and geometry without considering the consequences. if changing art style wasnt an option it would be literally impossible to perfect this stage...
