Hello NUCLEAR MUSHROOM(Ace Ally), thank you for reaching out, sorry to hear that you are being asked for an activation key despite not having one.

This issue will often show if you are not logged in to the correct Ubisoft account that is linked to your Steam account. You can check your linked accounts using the Ubisoft account website. [x.com]

If you are using the correct account or do not have one already linked then I would recommend to follow the below steps:

- Ensure you have Ubisoft Connect [ubi.li] installed and updated
- Launch Steam using admin rights [ubi.li] to ensure permissions are granted.
- Try to have both the game and Ubisoft Connect and Steam on the same drive

Should you continue to have trouble, just let us know

I've followed this advice, but it only leads to cyclic pages of tech support, passing the blame to Steam and from Steam to me for not having the activation code I never received for my purchase. All I learned from this is how to accept not having access to games by Ubisoft. I'm sorry that Tencent will be your boss from now on, but I'm glad Steam has a refund policy.
