You have to have the controller connected when you launch the game, seems obvious but you might have missed it?

Yeah, I know. Pretty much as every other game haha
I start the game from Big Picture using the controller to navigate through Big Picture and open the game, but when the game is open... stop working the controller :S

Same problem with a Switch Pro controller. :(

The control stick and the +-button works as long as the controller scheme isn't set to Xbox controller in the game. The other buttons do nothing. Under any condition, as far as I can tell.

My Logitech controller don't work with AC 2, I have even downloaded x360 and the right joystick keeps not working, to move cámara It is set to RT and LT...

Thank you a lot.
Can you rebind input on game settings? Is there such an option? Ac1 also had this problem but it also had rebinding support for gamepads so it wasn't a problem. So check whether rebinding is available in ac2. Also ac1 doesn't uses RT and LT. Instead it seems to be designed with LB and RB in mind. I expect the same for AC 2 (this info will be especially useful while you are rebinding)

It makes it crazy when you try. There are a lot of topics with this issue, but none of the files really works

Hey guys!

As the Switch Pro Controller isn't supported, it may be worth looking into software to force your PC to recognise it as an Xbox 360 controller before launching the game.

For you both though, I would also recommend checking Steam's controller settings.

You can do so by going to Steam (upper left of the client) > Settings > Controllers > General Controller Settings.

There you can toggle Xbox (or PlayStation) Configuration Support on / off.

Please give both settings a try and retry the game and let us know if there's any change.

Thank you!

I did, nothing. I download presets, nothing. I download "fixes" from community, nothing.

Hi Etxxu,

Sorry to hear that the steps that have been made available here had not helped in this case.

Regrettably, the official Xbox 360 controller is the only controller guaranteed to work as intended with AC II. As this is the only officially supported controller, we're limited in the support we can offer players.

We are also unable to recommend any particular fixes that have been suggested by the community. However there are a few threads available to read on the topic within the steam forums.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Thank you.
