Did they take out the squid easter egg?

In the final tomb, there was a Easter Egg where if you started the puzzle timer and looked into the water, after 30 seconds a giant squid would float by and if you did it again a tentical would come above the water. I tried it on my latest playthrough but it didn't trigger. So I had a friend who was playing the PS4 remaster version and it didn't trigger for them either.

I think the problem is its a really specific spot you need to stand in to look in the water - it's not just to look in the water. Worked last year for me on PC, but I had to watch a Youtube video to make sure I was standing in the exact right spot and then look down in the water.
