While it is true that this additional content has been patched into the base game, some of it is currently unavaialble, following the shutdown of this game's servers. You'll find such additional content as is still avaialble to unlock automatically as you progress through the game.[www.ubisoft.com]
For the unavaialble content, we are currently investigating this internally. My sincerest apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime. Let me know if there's any questions about this.
- Ubisoft Support
I understand that Ubisoft is also closing the servers for AC3, AC Brotherhood, AC Revelations, Silent Hunter 5, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Far Cry 3 and Anno 2070. Does that mean all the rewards and dlcs will also be inaccessible after Sep 1 and therefore would require me to play them now and get them saved on my hard drive so I can access them in the future?
Does this lock out people who weren't able to buy the Deluxe Edition of Assassin's Creed 2? We're stuck with the Standard Ver. here currently on both Steam and the Ubi store.
List of AC2 DLC[assassinscreed.fandom.com]
Looking at the files, the deluxe DLC files are at least there. However, I don't see any resemblance of UbiClub ULCs, and I don't think we'll ever get them back as those were always part of the online service.
Don't fully take my word for it but I'm quite confident that they aren't locking anything out. Standard and Deluxe got to download the same content, the only thing that stopped Standard owners to access Deluxe content was a key and the online service. Since it has been shut down, Deluxe owners got downgraded to Standard because the verification layer is gone. If Ubisoft's words is to believe, the Deluxe content "has been patched into the base game" so everyone (including Standard owners) can access them now.
