Screen flickering problem (nvidia gpu) :(

Hi guys, did someone find a way to fix the screen flickering on this game because I want to play it again badly since it's my favourite ac game :( I have nvidia 40s series graphics card and 170Hz monitor. I tried locking my monitor to 60hz (even 50) but it didn't work. Thank you in advance guys.

I noticed a screen flickering recently after upgrading to the latest nvidia driver (572.16). Before upgrading everything was working fine. Had to downgrade manually to a previous driver version for the flickering to disappear. Now it's working at 3440x1440 @ 165Hz just fine again.

Bro, I just saw you comment and I was getting ready to downgrade my Nvidia driver but as a last try I tried disabling the Nvidia overlay (and the steam overlay) after all the other fixes I tried and it WORKED !! I am so happy this worked :)) That being said you can try and upgrade your driver (i have 572.16 version installed atm, the same one you uninstalled) and just turn off nvidia overlay, I hope this helps someone.

Oh, good to know. I'm only playing some older games atm, so I'll probably still wait for the next driver release to upgrade to. But if that one still has problems then I'll definetly try to disable the overlays. :)

Same as you, I updated my drivers today. Indeed, just disabled the Nvidia overlay.

It was so much easier when I was a console player hahaha
